The commitment of the International Relations Office at ETSII is to promote interchange of Students and Staff with the leading academic Engineering Institutions all over the world. Internationalization is one of the strategic principles of the ETSII, within a labor market context, where Engineers are professionals susceptible to develop their careers globally.

International experience is considered a valued skill from the part of employers, and the ETSII provides different possibilities to acquire it, with the numerous partners, and a 30 years old interchange expertise. Nowadays close to 50% of ETSII last year students, develop part of their studies out of Spain.

Concurso de Ideas para Damen 2015,El pasado año gano un alumno de nuestra escuela!

Reunión informativa, Proximo Miércoles 25/02/2015 a las 12:30 en la R3Whitepaper Competition 2015 Damen, Nr1 shipyards in the Netherlands, with over 40 ship yards world wide In what kind of talent Damen is interested? We are looking for 2-3 engineering professionals who want to take the lead and have a pro - active way of action. Ideally, you are a team player with an entrepreneurial mind-set, working independently and think critically. As well as offering interesting global career opportunities, we invest in talent and encourage ambition. Process: 1. On inscription participants will inform the company about their selected subject 2. After 5 weeks participants will sent their papers to the selection committee 3. On receipt the papers will be studied and a first interview (skype) will be held 4. Only the best 8-10 participants will invited to present their paper to the committee 5. The 4-5 best candidates winners will have personal interviews with committee members 6. After the interviews a winner will be selected. 7. A maximum of 3 candidates will be considered for a practice / first work experience contract. 8. The best candidate will receive a price. 9. All participants in the finals will receive a commemorative gift and certificate Objective Present a 1White paper of maximum 10 pages presenting an idea, technical or commercial concept, process improvement, creating value for Damen as an internationally leading shipbuilding concept. Possible Subjects Who is entitled to participate? Students in their final year of master studies, and those recently graduated . Process and planning 1) Final inscription February 28th 2015 2) March 31st 2015 papers to be submitted 3) April 22 2015 presentations
