The commitment of the International Relations Office at ETSII is to promote interchange of Students and Staff with the leading academic Engineering Institutions all over the world. Internationalization is one of the strategic principles of the ETSII, within a labor market context, where Engineers are professionals susceptible to develop their careers globally.
International experience is considered a valued skill from the part of employers, and the ETSII provides different possibilities to acquire it, with the numerous partners, and a 30 years old interchange expertise. Nowadays close to 50% of ETSII last year students, develop part of their studies out of Spain.

Communicators are currently facing what is quite possible their most demanding professional challenge. Against today´s pervasive skepticism, they must roll up their sleeves and rebuild trust in their organizations. They have to be proactive in helping to define strategies aimed at regaining the public´s lost trust. Being able to trust a company or institution is one of the most important factors in determining the company´s reputation. What kind of tools do we have to face this fake news era and disinformation times? And how can we be better on communicating science results to public eyes?
Higher Education Staff Week will be focused on the following topics among others:
- Science Communication: main challenges and opportunities - Corporate Communication and brand management in higher education institutions - Relevance of intercultural communication in attracting international students - Reputation management: how to rebuild trust in a public institution.
